The hotel rooms were clean, although the lack of beach view was a bit disappointing. The reception staff were apologetic about the missing irons and promised to provide them when available. The pools were great, but the block in the back of the resort resembled more of an institution than a resort.

The hotel was not ideal; the rooms were filthy and full of technical difficulties. However, after reaching out to Sunwing, we were relocated to a slightly better room. The service was friendly but challenging due to the high number of guests. The location was kept clean and manicured, offering a pleasant stay away from the hustle of Puerto Plata city. The dining options were limited and became tiresome quickly. The facilities were disappointing overall.

My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms had amazing water pressure and a bathtub, but unfortunately, there was black mold in the bathroom, and the location was quite far from the facilities and beach, facing less pleasant surroundings. Service was top-notch with staff always engaging guests, even if the check-in process was a bit overwhelming with a large group. Overall, a mixed experience worth considering.
